Friday's Fave Five

The weekend is here! Angels are singing Hallelujah and the birds are chirping. This week has been long, eye opening, and tiresome. The good news is that my family doesn't have Ebola, Frisco Mercantile is open, the Pin Junkie Pinterest party is going on, and I can start wearing scarves soon. Here are some more of my faves from this week.

1. Last weekend my sister and I went to OKC to pick up some things that my Mother gave us. The one thing I wanted more than anything else was this tea cup and saucer. It was my great-grandmother's, and I'm thrilled to keep it in the family.

2. We also loaded up Mom's table and her hutch. Rachel got the hutch, and my empty formal dining room now has a formal dining set. Thanks, Mom and Dad! I pulled a U-haul trailer behind my minivan. You should have seen me try to back up the trailer to load it up. Thankfully, that was the only time I had to back up.

3. Wednesday, my table at MOPS went out to lunch. It's so nice to get to know these wonderful ladies this year.

4. Javen had his first project due, and he did a fabulous job.

5. I couldn't agree more, and I need it hanging in my closet. :-)

What fabulous plans do you have for this weekend? Have a safe and fun weekend, and I'll see you on Monday.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, and I love the name of your site!

  2. That teacup is beautiful - I'm so glad you were able to hang onto it. I've never seen that quote before but it's fantastic - I'd love to get a print of it!!
