Writing Love Letters

Every great once in a while, I get a handwritten letter in the mail. Okay, maybe every other year or so. The point is that no one ever writes handwritten notes anymore. Texts and emails are the norm, and that goes for the way we express love. Even the greeting card companies have an app for sending a greeting card via email. Pretty genius, if you ask me.

This year I asked Kevin if we could exchange love letters for Valentine's Day instead of buying each other a card. There are two reasons for this. I want to know how he feels about me, and have a record of it in his handwriting. The second reason is that I don't want to spend $4.99 two times over. I know that sounds cheap of me, but we are on a strict budget.

Don't you think there is something special and romantic about reading a love letter from your Valentine? Will you be making your special love a handmade Valentine?

Happy Valentine's Day,
