You're Engaged; Now What? Months 8 through 4

By now its starting to sink in that you are engaged and that the wedding is a reality. But there is still so much left to plan and reserve. Follow the list below for Months 8-4.

Month 8:
*Discuss the honeymoon plans
*Book Florist
*Shop for bridal accessories shoes, veil, underpinnings
*Shop for bridesmaids' dresses

Month 7:
*Shop for attire for groom and groomsmen
*Discuss details with caterer and reception manager
*Order invitations and other stationery
*Reserve rooms at hotel for out-of-town guests

Month 6:
*Meet with officiant to discuss the ceremony
*Discuss details with florist
*Finalize honeymoon plans
*Make arrangements for time off from work

Month 5:
*Discuss details with musicians, photographer, & videographer
*Shop for wedding favors
*Reserve rental equipment

Month 4:
*Finalize the guest list, and confirm addresses as needed
*Check local requirements for marriage license and blood tests
*Arrange transportation for wedding day
