Favorite Things: Money Saving Apps

If you are like me, your phone is attached to your hand permanently. I use it for my business, my calendar, saving money, running my home, and to communicate about a dozen different ways.

One of my favorite uses of my phone is the saving money part. There are a few apps that are great for the money saving person on the go. Sometimes there isn't much time for clipping coupons, and these apps don't require cutting on the dotted line.

1. Target Cartwheel
I check this app every time I head to Target. It offers percentage discounts and can be used on up to four of the same item. You can also use the discount in conjunction with coupons. Discount on top of a discount. Yes, please!

2. Retail Me Not
Any store that offers discounts and coupons will be on Retail Me Not. Check the app before heading to check out and see what amazing discounts you can find. You can also use this app for online purchases.

3. Amazon Price Check
Is there anything you can't buy on Amazon? When we shop for a specific item at a store, we look at this app to see if Amazon has a lower price. It's a great comparison tool when you are on the go and don't have time to drive around to find the best deal.

4. Hobby Lobby
Yes, they have their own app, and it's awesome! The app is simple, but very useful. They list the current weekly offers, and they have a bar code for the current week's coupon. When you feel like crafting or doing a little shopping, download this app first.

5. Walmart
The Savings Catcher is only thing I use on the Walmart app. You scan in your receipts, and it will comparison shop for you. If there are lower prices elsewhere, Walmart will give you a credit to use at their stores. The only problem with this app is that you have to print the eGift Card.

Since you never leave home without your phone, why not make it earn a little cash?

Happy Saving,
