Postpartum Pounds Update

Weight loss is one of those topics that you either love to talk about or shun. Since I started the conversation in June, I thought I'd better not avoid the topic. Losing the postpartum pounds has not gone as smoothly as I had anticipated. Sticking to my plan has turned out like most New Year's resolutions.

We moved in August, and I'm blaming the packing and unpacking of the house for the lack of energy to exercise. I know that's not really an excuse, but that's all I've got.

Current weight.

So here's the progress:
*Since I gave birth I have lost 23 pounds.
*I eat less, but my diet still needs to change to a more balanced diet. I just went grocery shopping and bought more salad, fruits, veggies, and lean protein.
*I have started riding my bike, but it is too sporadic to count toward calorie loss.
*I can fit in two pair of pre-prego jeans and a pair of shorts!

The Plan:
*Continue to eat small portions.
*Exercise 3 days a week
*Balanced diet


I would like to get back to this weight or a little less. Goal Weight!

The Goal:
*To be healthy
*To lose 22 more pounds
*Continue exercising.
