We went to World Market and selected French cookies, chocolates, and some wine. Kevin couldn't find a French wine that he wanted, so he fudged and picked a different one.
After we had dinner and put the boys to bed, I put my "pajamas" on. It a French theme, so use your imagination. It was pretty. I had picked up the movie Chocolat from the library a couple days before. We snuggled up, ate chocolate and French cookies, and watched the movie together. It was perfect.
We don't have to spend a lot of money to entertain ourselves or to have a good time. We just need each other's company. This was one of my favorite at home dates. Do you have themed dates?
