Happy Friday everyone. This week has been crazy! Both the boys are sick, and all of you with kids know that means nothing gets done. We are hoping that by this weekend everyone will be well.
I wanted to give you a little inspiration this weekend with centerpieces. Who says centerpieces have to contain flowers and greenery?
The idea of using a birdcage for a centerpiece brings thoughts of a fresh start and a new beginning. Plus they come in great shapes, designs, and colors. Play it up with straw, fruit, or ribbon.
Add some lights, feathers, and some drinks and you have a Vegas, Bachelorette, or Birthday party in the making. Feathers add volume with add a big dent to your budget.
We have all seen candle centerpieces, but this one is creative and whimsical. This centerpiece would be wonderful for an adult dinner party, rehearsal dinner, or wedding.
Balloons are so fun, and the designs have become a work of art. When I see balloons, I think of New Year's Eve parties, kid's birthday parties, school fundraisers, and sweet sixteen parties. The great thing about balloons is you can mix and match color and designs.
How about an edible centerpiece? Fill jars with candy, beans, nuts, gumballs, or coffee beans. This centerpiece is colorful, simple, and yet elegant. If you decide to use Whoppers, please do not forget to invite me. :-)
Centerpieces can be so much more than a floral arrangement. What centerpieces have you used for your parties?
Have a great weekend,
Amanda
