All Aboard Train Birthday Party

Every time we drive over railroad tracks or see anything that resembles a train, my two year old son will yell out, "Train, Mama, Train!"  He is basically into any mode of transportation, so we thought it would be a great idea to take him for a train ride. There are not many options, and the ones available are a little pricey. That was until we found Forest Park Miniature Railroad.

Even though J's birthday is not until December, I'm already looking at ideas for a Choo-Choo Birthday Party.

The train at FPMR cost $3.00 for children and $3.50 for adults. This is a great option for those that want a train experience without the big price tag. The train ride is approximately 40 minutes and runs on the hour. Check out their calendar for times and dates of availablity.
The miniature train ride is a great expereince for a train themed birthday party. Have guest meet you there before or after cake time. There are not any tables or public restrooms, so it would be best to have the party at a near by location.

No train birthday party is complete without a choo-choo train birthday cake. Busy B's Bakery cakes are delicious, and this train is too cute to pass up.
Have you ever thrown your child a train themed birthday party? I'd love to hear about it.
