Almost Healthy Banana Nut Bread

Banana Nut Bread is a great dessert that is not too sweet. I found this recipe and changed a couple ingredients to make it a little healthier. It taste great and was easy to make.

1/2 Cup Apple Sauce
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup or 2 large bananas mashed
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Almonds
(Can add a pinch of Cinnamon)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Spray Pam Spray on a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Using an electric mixer, cream the apple sauce and sugar. With the mixer running on medium speed, add the eggs one at a time. Add the bananas and mix well. Add the baking soda, salt, flour, nuts and cinnamon and mix thoroughly. The dough will be a little sticky.

Pour the dough into the prepared pan and bake about 50 minutes or until the center is brown and set.
