Wedding Etiquette: Who Do I Have to Invite?

Sometimes wedding etiquette is straight forward and other times it is left up to your background, traditions, or religion.

I had a co-worker that was planning a wedding, but she was on a very strick budget. She did not want to invite the boyfriends of the bridesmaids because of the extra cost for the sit down dinner at the reception.

I thought that this wasn't the nicest thing to do, but I wasn't sure if it was considered bad wedding etiquette. So, I checked with the wedding expert, Peggy Post, the author of Emily Post's Wedding Etiquette.

Here is the list of must invites when it comes to your wedding guest.
*The spouse, fiance, or live in partner of the guest you are inviting.
*Whoever preforms the ceremony and his or her spouse.
*The Parents of the ring bearer and flower girl

If you are on a budget and need to cut a growing guest list don't forget to include these important guests.
